What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing you can relax and stretch in. The more the instructor can see of your posture the better. Bare feet or socks.
Do I need to bring a mat?
A towel or yoga mat to begin with. A good Pilates mat is an investment. For more information on purchasing equipment contact us.
Can I just turn up on the night?
All our courses must be booked and paid for in advance unless specified as drop in.
Is Pilates safe for me after back pain / recent operation etc.?
So Pilates are pleased to be working alongside the Good Health Centre on Harrogate Road, Leeds. We can offer remedial one to one Pilates with registered
Physiotherapists and we also work alongside healthcare providers to ensure your best progress.

How do I book a One to One session?
One to One Pilates is available at our venues or your home. Contact us for more information.
Are missed sessions refundable?
Sessions are non refundable, however, missed sessions can be made up during the same term at your instructor's discretion on another course/time.
Can I join a course once it has started?
For beginners, bookings are taken up to week three. After this time you will need to wait for the next booking period. We will try to accommodate improver and intermediate bookings at any time, however, courses fill up fast so early booking is recommended. Drop in classes are always available.

Gentle
More focus on relaxation, also suitable for people with arthritis, hip replacement, high blood pressure, recovering from surgery etc.
Beginner
Minimal or no experience required. Learn the basics and build a strong foundation.
Improver
Those who have completed a full beginner course and feel confident with the principles of Pilates.
Open
The Instructor will demonstrate suitable levels for beginner to intermediate.
Beginner / Open
All welcome. Focus is on the basics, suitable for beginners and those returning to Pilates.
Intermediate
Those with extensive experience. Knowledge of the movements, principles and awareness of appropriate levels required. |
